An introduction to cheese making
A beginners guide to fermenting milk, making yogurt, soft cheeses, cottage cheese and halloumi cheese .
Held over 2 consecutive mornings or afternoons
The Little Black Pig dairying course will be held over 2 consecutive afternoons - approx -9 hours of training. During that time you will learn about the principals about working with raw and pasturised milk, making fermented milk such as Yakult style drinks, yogurt, cream cheeses, a 'Boursin' style cheese, cottage cheese and halloumi cheese.
All ingredients are provided and you will get to take all the cheese and yogurts that you have made home with you. You will also go home with recipes cards and equipment to help get you started.
