What a brilliant course. I did the pate making course in November 2015 and it was such a lovely experience. Learnt to make the tastiest rillettes we have ever eaten and managed to polish them off in two days! superb organic meats from their farm and even got to have a walk around to see all of the animals. I thoroughly enjoyed my traditional haggis course with Louisa. Everything was beautifully prepared and we were given laminated recipes which was a brilliant idea as mine became yuckie quite quickly! I took my haggis home and cooked it for my French neighbours. We were all in agreement that it was delicious. I would thoroughly recommend Louisa's courses. J Jones

I am so pleased, she has made a world of progress since she started with you, she has gone from somewhat being "embarrassed" to speak to being proud of speaking English. I met Louisa when I did her Introduction to cheese course and I am hooked. Louisa is an amazing teacher, so patient, and her course is wonderful: you really learn a skill and come out with your own homemade cheese, it’s super exciting. Following this course, as I knew Louisa was a qualified English teacher, I asked her if she could help with my 4-year-old daughter who was having trouble speaking English while learning French as we are a bilingual family. In a couple of months, Louisa has made it happen! My daughter now speaks English with me spontaneously, she’s learnt how to structure her own sentences and knows lots of new songs. . Wiz, Gers
